Detroit is taking a major step toward a more bike-friendly future, and Lockstop is helping lead the way. This fall, the company deployed 25 free smart bike-locking stations across Corktown as part of the city’s Transportation Innovation Zone, giving riders secure, app-connected parking on existing racks. As Daily Detroit reports, the pilot supports the city’s growing push for active transportation by reducing bike-theft anxiety, making everyday trips easier, and generating valuable data that helps Detroit plan stronger bike infrastructure and support local businesses.
